On January 29th, 2008, John Goss，Director of Ceejay International Limited Corporation， visited Chinese Society of Electrical Engineering, and was interviewed by Li Ruomei，the Permanent Deputy Secretary-general. Their conversation was mainly about the propaganda work of China International Conference on Electricity Distribution under the auspices of Chinese Society of Electrical Engineering in 2008.
       Director John Goss attended the China International Conference on Electricity Distribution in 2006(CICED2006), and highly evaluated the success of the conference. He had a high expectation on this biannual grand technology gathering in the electricity distribution field. It is hoped that he could contribute more encouraging and widespread propaganda for CICED2008 so that more foreign experts and scholars in electric power field could gain further understanding of CSEE and CICED, and become more interested in attending CICED.
       Permanent Deputy Secretary-general Li Ruomei first expressed her appreciation to Director John Goss for his good will, and then raised her thoughts and suggestions on the propaganda of CICED2008, among which the importance of both the contents and the form of the conference was emphasized. Not only the propaganda work should be well organized , but also the technical contents be more attractive to the experts and scholars, as well as the right form to encourage more people to participate. Only in this way can CICED play its role so as to gain industry insiders’ authorization, and to promote global technology share and progress in the electricity distribution field.
