Regulation of Membership Dues Management of Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering

Article 1 Regulation of Membership Fee Management of Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering (hereinafter referred as the Regulation) is enacted in accordance with the guideline of the notice of the Ministry of Civil Affairs and the Ministry of Finance on adjusting the policy of NPO Fees and the specific conditions of Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering (hereinafter referred as the Society).
Article 2 Membership fee is the basic responsibility required for every member and constitutes the main source of financial revenue of the Society, which should be collected according to relevant provisions stipulated for the purpose of academic activities support and routine work maintenance to supply more and better service to members. All the relative financial plans should be discussed and verified with dominant respect for frugality.
Article 3 Membership type and membership fees
1. Individual membership fee standard Ordinary membership: annual membership fee of 50 yuan; Senior membership: annual membership fee of 200 yuan; (which is also applicable to all the members from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, and foreign countries; Honorary members and student members are not obliged to pay for their membership; Retired membership, including that of senior membership at the same time, is not compulsory to pay for its membership.
2. Collective membership fee Enterprise membership: annual membership fee of 10,000 CNY; University/Collage membership: annual membership fee of 2,000CNY.
3. Membership fee of directors, standing directors and vice chairman Directors: annual membership fee of 30,000 yuan; Standing directors: annual membership fee of 60,000yuan; Vice chairman: annual membership fee of 100,000yuan; Directors and standing directors affiliated to governmental organizations, ministries and commissions under the State Council, or professional committees are exempted from membership fee responsibility
Article 4 Membership fee use
1. To undertake activities such as academic exchange at home and abroad, popular science education, and etc.
2. To publish journals and symposiums of the Society and translate foreign technical documents
3. To finance and cultivate outstanding talents of technology by setting up prize and commendatory programs;
4. To establish the Home for the Technical Talents;
5. To execute other commitments of the Society.
Article 5 Membership fee collection and management The collection and management of membership fee should be executed with absolute respect for the dominant principle –“Whoever collects fee should be responsible for its management and supply service accordingly at the same time. ”
1. Membership developed by the head office of the Society should be also in the charge of the aforesaid head office in its membership fee collection and management.
2. Membership developed by authorized branches of the Society should be in the charge of the Society head office for its annual fee collection , which will be returned in full as activity funds for these branches.
3. Delegated societies of electrical engineering (at provincial level) of the Society should be responsible for members developed by them in membership fee collection and management.
4. The head office of the Society is responsible for membership fee collection and management of all the senior members.
5. The head office of the Society has full control of the membership fee collection and management of all the directors, standing directors and vice chairman, whose membership will be terminated upon two consecutive years’ failure o
